Suzette Mullen is an Author Accelerator certified book coach committed to amplifying the voices LGBTQ+ memoir and nonfiction writers.
Her favorite part of coaching is helping writers find the deeper story inside their experiences and she also finds great joy in fostering writing communities, which is why she’s created WRITE YOURSELF OUT, a community exclusively for LGBTQ+ writers.
In addition to coaching memoir and nonfiction, Suzette writes personal essays and long form memoir. The Only Way Through Is Out, her memoir about coming out later in life, will be published by The University of Wisconsin Press in winter 2024.
Suzette is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Wellesley College, and also holds a certificate in spiritual formation from Columbia Theological Seminary. A founding board member of The Lancaster LGBTQ+ Coalition, she is the proud mom of two adult sons and lives in Lancaster PA with her wife and their nine-pound rescue pup.
